London: Eden Fisher & co., 1888. 8vo. [iii]-xviii, 1240pp. A binding copy. Front and rear boards present and attached, but barely with heavy wear all around. Spine strip missing and text block with some staining. Interior contents complete with light age darkening throughout. Printed front free endpaper, half-title, and title loose from binding and thus exhibing some chipping and wear to the extremities of those pages. Stamp of "D.D. Millikin" and full page ad for "Turner, Routledge & Co. Telegraph Codes" attached to printed front pastedown. Eratta slip pasted to verso of front free endpaper and Millikin's stamp appearing again on the half-title and title.
